Dreadlock Brush Outs

Dreads are not low maintenance compared to normal hair, they require a different routine of care to stay clean and healthy. 

Can I help?  Yes. Brush outs are charged at an hourly rate of $70ph and is extremely hard to say how long it will take.  Variants include how old the dreads are, how tightly matted, the length, and how many dreads to brush out. 

Sittings can be done over a few days or weekly visits.  Brushouts can be painful and tedious. One day will not be enough time for a full head of dreads to brush out.  As a rough guide 30 mins to 60 mins to brush out one dread. 

I do my best to be gentle and retain as much hair as I can.

Matted Hair Brush Outs.  ( non dreadlocks ) 

Sometimes life gets messy and we neglect ourselves. Hair can become our last priority.  Brushouts can help scalp and hair health .  A fresh start, a new beginning.  

I can close the salon for a private appointment where anxiety and privacy are of concern.  Matted hair, as per the images below, takes a shorter amount of time than individual dreadlocks do to brush out.

Therefore this type of brushout is capped at $350 per day and includes fresh wash, conditioning, and a basic cut.
