Dreadlokk Extensions

PERMANENT HUMAN HAIR EXTENSIONS

Crocheted Dreadlock Extensions

Dreadlock extensions can be crocheted onto your existing dreads or created from scratch with new ones. These extensions are permanent and difficult to remove, attached to the ends of your natural dreads to add length (not fullness).

The process involves using a crochet hook to securely attach the extensions to your natural hair/dreadlock. While they aren’t braided, sewn, or glued in and won’t come out easily, they’re not meant to last forever. On average, dreadlock extensions last 1-3 years before they need to be cut off and the ends brushed out to remove them.

For standard dreadlock extensions (less than 6 inches), I create them directly onto your hair during your installation appointment. For extra-long extensions (over 6 inches), I’ll custom-make them for you in advance, ready for your installation.

I use ethically sourced, recycled, and cleansed human hair wefts—100% human hair. While I cannot guarantee an exact color match as each weft has a unique blend, this gives you a chance to mix and create a custom, one-of-a-kind look that’s all your own.

TEMPORARY SYNTHETIC EXTENSIONS

Synthetic Dreadlock Extensions

Synthetic extensions are a fantastic way to temporarily enhance your dreadlock look, whether you're adding fullness to your existing dreads or experimenting with a dreadlock style. These extensions can be braided into loose hair or looped onto the roots of existing dreadlocks.

They are temporary, lasting 6-10 weeks, and are perfect for those looking to try out dreadlocks without the long-term commitment. Available in standard and fashion colors, these extensions give your dreads more volume (not length) and allow you to add vibrant pops of color or texture.

If you don’t yet have dreadlocks, synthetic extensions can be braided into your loose hair—either as a partial or full head—giving you a chance to test out the style without the permanent commitment.

Once your 6-10 weeks are up, they must be removed to avoid your natural hair starting to dread. After removal, the extensions can often be reused, depending on the care and quality. The installation process varies depending on how many extensions you’re getting, but they’re easy to remove—just cut the tie and unbraid!

If you already have dreadlocks, synthetic extensions can be looped or tied into your existing locks to add fullness, color, or a fun decorative touch.
